Mahlet Seifu is taking her brand me-tu to places, she is pushing through in areas where African fashion is little ,known. That is in Canada, where she lives since her youth.
She is a model turned designer. Her products are taking interesting directions because she tries to master the craft applied to it, before sending anything out. Mahlet always tells aspiring designers to try doing same if they expect to succeed.
She started modeling before twenty years, and shortly after, left Ethiopia for Canada where she studied right up to the university. Consulting is her profession but her ambition to get African fashion go places keeps her glued to design and modeling.
